2022 SAYLA GOLF SCRAMBLE

     The SAYLA Scramble is the annual golf tournament sponsored by the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association. Each year, this tournament supports the San Antonio Young Lawyers Foundation (SAYLF) and another local, charitable organization.

     This year’s charity is Pay It Forward, a local nonprofit organization that links treatment and long-term recovery through supportive sober living, allowing individuals to heal from the destruction of addiction and create meaningful lives. Pay It Forward strives to provide every indigent individual in recovery from substance addiction who desires freedom from the disease of addiction - the option and the financial means to move to sober living home post detox, treatment or incarceration. Through an application/interview process Pay It Forward provides access to several sober living options - so that these individuals can move directly from detox, treatment, incarceration or the streets to a sober living environment rather than return to their former unsafe, sobriety threatening living environments. For more information please visit their website at payitforwardsa.org.

As young lawyers, SAYLA members are involved in all aspects and at all levels of the San Antonio area community. From transactional attorneys and litigators to elected officials in the public eye, the San Antonio Young Lawyers Associations has a diverse membership that has been a mainstay of our community for over 60 years and will continue to be for many more.
