Programs Committee

The Programs Committee is primarily responsible for planning and organizing SAYLA’s monthly luncheons. On the third Tuesday of each month at Paesano’s Restaurant near the Quarry, SAYLA presents speakers in diverse areas of the law who share their wisdom with our group. Past speakers have included Texas Supreme Court, federal, State district, and county court judges, professors, local practitioners, mortgage examiners, jury selection experts and many others. Each luncheon earns members CLE credit needed to maintain their license.

For a list of some past luncheons, please scroll down.

In addition, the Programs Committee is also responsible for organizing and planning Law Week events in early May and organizes the Judicial Reception held at the Fourth Court Appeals prior to San Antonio’s annual Red Mass at San Fernando Cathedral.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Programs Committee, please update your profile and add the Programs Committee to your committee selections.
